I made this super cute clutch for my friend's birthday. I wanted to get her something small but I didn't really have any ideas. I looked for things when I was out running errands yesterday, but nothing jumped out at me. Then I randomly happened upon a blog that had directions to make this clutch. I thought it was so cute and knew that I had to make one. After dinner I left Kaylin home with Eric (a rare treat) and ran to JoAnn's. I finished it this morning before Kaylin woke up. I don't think the pictures do it justice, but oh well.
If you want to make one too I think the directions aren't clear at all at step 5 (even incorrect in my opinion). And some of the other directions might be confusing if you haven't made stuff like this before. If you do want to make one and get confused let me know and I'll try to clarify the directions for you.
I'm 99% sure Laura doesn't read my blog, so hopefully she doesn't see these pictures until after Friday :-).

Hi Brianne!
Wandering around on blogs from my ward (new 2nd/old 3rd) I found yours :) I don't know if you remember me--I was your mom's VT when you got married and served sandwiches at your reception! Adorable litte clutch, thanks for posting the pics and the instructions! I've been wanting to make a purse for my 4 year old and I think I will try this one cut in half.
How cute is that?! Who knew you were crafty. ;-) If you like to sew, I recently found a few tutorials for "reposessed" dresses (dresses for little girls, made from other things...old shirts, pillowcases, etc. These are free on the web - I think another girl in the ward is going to make one of the dresses with me, and then we'll compare notes. ;-)
Good luck with the new calling. ;-) ha!
Ok, that is the cutest thing ever! I have to try it!
