While Eric was pumping gas on Saturday morning I had a quick conversation with Kaylin. First, I turned around in my seat so I could look at her while talking. This was met with a scowl and a shout of "NO!". So I turned back around and she was much happier with that.
Me: Did you sleep well last night?
K: Yeah.
Me: Did you have good dreams?
K: Yeah.
Me: What did you dream about?
K: Daddy.
Me: Do you love Daddy?
K: Yeah.
Me: Is Daddy your favorite?
K: Yeah.
Me: Do you love Mommy?
K: (pause) Daddy!
Humph.

That is funny. I love that she scowled at you, her scowl is just so cute.
That is too funny!! Evelyn goes back and forth with playing favorites... some days she only wants mommy-time and other days she loves her daddy the best.
It's so funny how kids can be the sweetest little angels and then be the biggest stinkers in the world!
I love conversations with my boys too they are so funny. They come up with the silliest things with their busy little minds.
welcome to my world.
Wow! That was quite a conversation! I'm impressed just by that!
But still...it was heartless and cruel. Sounds like you need a Mommy Time Off to recuperate. ;-)
I'm sorry but that is the funniest thing I've heard.
I love that she is already giving you attitude. You are in trouble when she hits the teenage years.
That sounds like something Rachel would say too. Such Daddy's girls. Gotta love it!
Kimball will only let Dusty hold him when we are out and about. If he is home, Kimball insists on playing with him...can't say I complain that much!
