It's not a mystery anymore

This past week I participated in Lola...Again's Mystery Purse Sew-Along. There were 6 days of sewing and we didn't know what the end product would look like. Well, here's what mine looks like:
Please excuse the sideways picture, I'm having issues with getting my pictures to upload into Picasa so this is straight from my memory card.

The pink panel on the front is a pocket. The back is the pink and the inside lining is the orange. The flap has a magnetic snap. There are 2 pockets inside made with the pink fabric. The bag is really big. It should have been called the "Mystery Tote Bag Sew-Along". I'll probably use it for a church bag and if we can ever have another kid then I can use it as a diaper bag. The Sew-Along was a lot of fun and I'm excited to have a new fun bag.

Super cute! You did a great job! Maybe when I have time I'll make a mystery purse too. =)

Yay, I love how yours turned out. I have to get pics of mine put up. I'm glad you did it too, no one else likes mystery bags, I guess... I definitely want to make another one with some fun summer fabric, and no crazy interfacing this time...
