See this adorable girl?
This little darling decided to take off all of her clothes, including her diaper, twice in her crib today. When I went in to get her this morning, she was naked. When I went to get her after her nap, she was naked. Luckily she kept her bed dry this morning, no such luck this afternoon. But it could have been worse. Much worse.
Here's where all of my super parent friends come in: Help! Does anyone have any fabulous ideas on how to keep at least her diaper on?? Here's what I have so far:
1. Potty train her (day and night) IMMEDIATELY. Ha!
2. Duct tape. Lots of duct tape. Don't tell CPS.

Actually, duct tape on the diaper really does work, and it's nothing to be ashamed of! It's only attached to the DIAPER not the BABY!
Also, if she's old enough to understand, you could always add in a consequence. "If you take off your diaper, you won't be able to choose your clothes," or something related like that.
I hope she doesn't poop in the bed. =)
So I haven't been through this (yet), but a friend of mine with this problem found that if she put her kid to sleep with a onesie on, the kid couldn't get it off and the clothes and diaper stayed on. Maybe Kaylin is smarter than her kid, but maybe it would work?
She will grow out of it... Sydney did! I just hope you have a few sheets on hand!
Good luck is all I have to say. I have heard of the onesie trick being used on other kids.
I have heard of using a "points" system - or stickers or something like that. If she leaves her diaper on she gets a sticker afterward. (basically what JackJen said)
Maybe stop letting her hang out with strippers.
I've heard if she sleeps in a sleeper to put it in backwards so she can't reach the zipper.
Looks like everyone has the same ideas I do - you can put some duct tape around the waist of her diaper to keep it on, OR cut the feet off of some "footie PJs" and put them on her, backwards.
(You could also put her Pjs on her the right way, and stick a safety pin under the zipper so she couldnt' get it down. Maybe put the pin on the INSIDE of her PJs, so it would be harder for her to get to?)
Love all the comments! Those were the only ideas I had...good luck with that!
We do the onesie. Brooklyn can't un-snap them.
Put the diaper on backwards?? LOL
We had a youth babysitter do this once on accident...but like they said, "hey, it stayed on and it worked?"
Not totally foolproof, but makes it more of a hassle for her to undo.
