Kaylin loves to hold Lauren. She loves being a big sister, and she loves that she has Lauren for a little sister.
This brings me to two conversations that happened within 10 minutes of each other.
Story 1:
Kaylin: Mommy, who gave me this purse?
Me: Aunt Kay.
Kaylin: Aunt Kay?
Me: Yes. Aunt Kay is Grammy's sister. Who is your sister?
Kaylin: (BIG smile) Lauren is my sister! (long thoughtful pause) Who is Aunt Carly's sister?
Me: Aunt Carly doesn't have a sister. She has two brothers.
Kaylin: But Aunt Carly NEEEEEEEDS a sister!
Story 2:
Our church has a magazine called Ensign. This month's issue has all of the talks from the General Conference held last month. On the cover there is a picture of our prophet and president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Thomas S. Monson, with his wife.
Kaylin: (Pointing at President Monson) This is Thomas S. Monson.
Me: Yup.
Kaylin: (Pointing at Sister Monson) And this is Cousin Monson?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha. At least I thought it was funny :-).

Soooo cute!!! You can tell Kaylin I do have sisters!! Luckily, my brothers married awesome women!!

That is so cute! I LOVE the things they say at this age - it is hilarious! That sister comment was so cute - I totally agree with her. Everyone NEEEEEDS a sister! :)
