Eric and I decided that our living and dining rooms needed curtains. I looked online for curtains and had a hard time finding the length I need in a style and color I liked. I didn't want to make them. So I compromised. While at Target alone one day (it was supposed to be a quick trip, Eric and the girls were in the car), I stopped to look at the curtains and found 4 panels in a color I liked that were on clearance! They were the only 4 left in their longest length, while they were only 30% off, I didn't want to risk waiting for 50%.
The longest length available at Target is too short for our windows. Enter the compromise.
I bought some special order fabric and after lots of seam ripping, measuring, cutting, ironing, and sewing... we have curtains!

I think the curtains change everything! I LOVE how they look. Your house is looking like a model home!
How smart is that??! They look great!!! I wouldn't have thought to add the gold underneath, but they look gorgeous. Good job!
I looked at those same curtains for when they were on clearance. Same problem though, not long enough. I'm not as industrious so I ordered a different style of long online. Those are super cute though. I love the curtains and they add a lot.
they definitely warm up the room -- very pretty!! :)
Love them!!
They look so good! I've been thinking the same thing lately, that I need curtains in my family and living rooms!
they look gorgeous - love them. Can't believe how much curtains enhance a room... it's making me realize I really need to get some for my house! :)
