Kaylin did a great job today. She didn't have a single accident. She did pee in her pull-up during her nap, which I definitely expected. We went out for a couple of hours after Eric got home from work and I put her in a pull-up again. I took her into the bathroom at one of the stores and at the restaurant and told her that she could use the toilet in these bathrooms. But she refused to use them. She did want to go into the bathroom while we were waiting for our food, but she just wanted up on the changing table. I told her that changing tables were for babies who wore diapers and big girls who wear underwear like her use the toilet. She didn't want to use the toilet and we went back to our table. I'm not too concerned, she hasn't even used a big toilet or one at any place other than home. We'll keep working on that.
Day 2 was a definite success.

Yeah!!!! Good job Kaylin. Ashley F.
Nice! I was going to call and see how it was going. We now know where every potty is in every store... the only bad thing about having a potty trained child I guess...
Brianne!
You are having lots of fun, I can see. Potty parties, baby gifts and another cute baby girl on the way -- Congrats!!! to you and Eric
Awesome!
Hey, for us it worked to have a tiny potty (we used the Baby Bjorn Little Potty - which can be found online at target) that we kept in the car with a roll of toilet paper. In the Jeep she just sat in the back and would go in there. In the Honda she sat in the trunk, with it open of course or we put the potty on the front passenger seat. It was really nice to have a potty with us so that we didn't have to worry about finding public bathrooms and Camden was too afraid of the loud flushes and huge seats anyway. The BBLP toilets are easy to clean too.
If she peed while we were out we'd just put enough TP in the potty to absorb it so it wouldn't slosh and then clean it when we got home. :)
