I have succumbed to the pressure and am now more than half-way through book number 2. I checked out Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (book 1) from the library on Friday, finished it on Monday, and checked out Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (book 2) on Monday. I had been anti-Harry Potter for YEARS. I didn't want to read the books. I didn't want to watch the movies. And now, here I am, waiting for a dvd to be returned to the library so I can watch the video and hoping that volume three will be available as soon as I finish number two. I find myself wanting to make references to Quidditch and other non-Muggle things, but Eric would think I'm crazy so I just keep quiet. So I guess I'm behind the times, but I'm trying to catch up. I'll be waiting with the rest of them for book 7. You can thank my sister for this :-).

Yeah!!! I knew you would love Harry Potter once you started the first book. Now I can have someone to talk with about Harry and what is going to happen next. Happy Reading! I am actually going to be rereading books 5 and 6 once we move to get ready for the new book to come out.
I just put a hold on book 3 and dvd 1 at the library. The computer says I'm number one on the holds list. I was trying not to finish number 2 today, but I just might. I want to know what happens!
