I need a good book
I've decided that I should read a book. I probably haven't read a book "for fun" since last summer. I'm looking for recommendations. Has anyone read anything great lately??
Thanks! I saw that on your blog :-). I will check to see if our library has it. I applied for a card online today and they are sending it to me in the mail. How crazy is that?
My favorite books I've read recently are "Goose Girl" and "The Princess Academy". They're both by Shannon Hale and are easy reads. I also think Michelle's blog has some books that her book club has read. Her blog is jeffandmichellebrown.blogspot.com
I watched "The Freedom Writers" ( with Hillary Swank) at the theatre and recently rented it to watch with my ( college age) boys. Then I checked out the book Teach with your Heart, by Erin Gruwell, which is her experience, more amazing than the movie. I am next in line for The Freedom Writers Diary, which is the stories written by her students. I can't wait! She is amazing, IMHO. I am also going to read the book written by Zlata Filipovic, which inspired her students, similar to Ann Frank.

You should read "Twilight" by Stephanie Meyer. It's pretty popular right now...LDS author, too. You'll love it!
