Lauren's first boat ride

Eric went on a high adventure bike trip to San Juan Island with the young men from church earlier this month. Instead of hanging out by ourselves all week, we headed up to Bellingham to hang out with my family. We took the boat out on Lake Whatcom one of the nights.

Yea! I love the boat!

Lauren and Kaylin posing. Don't worry, the boat wasn't moving.

Lauren wasn't a fan of the wind.

Lauren is 7 months old

I'm two weeks late posting this, but here are Lauren's 7 month pictures. I had a hard time getting her to even LOOK at me. She was too intrigued by the amazing grass she was sitting on. So you get to see the ones I got where she was looking up, and not down at the grass.

Kaylin wanted in on the action too.

Kaylin wears this dress pretty much every day. It's her uniform.

Ruffle butt onesie and baby legs

I finally broke down and bought a cute set of onesies at Target to make ruffle butt onesies. I made two for Lauren. I still have three more onesies and fabric for the ruffles. If you're having a girl soon, maybe you'll get one :-).

I bought a coordinating pair of socks to make baby legs. I don't have a tutorial to link to, because I took a tutorial and changed it. I don't know where the link to the original tutorial is, plus the tutorial was hard to follow. If you want my tutorial, let me know. I took pictures just in case :-).

Sun!

It was sunny today! Yea! We bought Kaylin a pool a couple of weeks ago, so I blew it up and filled it with freezing cold hose water. Kaylin loved it. She played in it for an hour. She jumped, sang, danced, and played with her beach toys.

Lauren hung out in the shade.

I made some popsicles, Kaylin now thinks I'm the coolest mom ever.

We're supposed to have a hot week. We'll be spending lots of time in freezing cold hose water. I'm very grateful for our A/C! Come on over, I'll make popsicles.
