Cousins' pool

Eric's brother's family bought a 3-foot pool at the beginning of the summer. A few Saturdays ago we were really hot, so we invited ourselves over.

Seahawks Training Camp

The Seahawks' practice facility is located in Renton, just a few minutes from our house. It's right on Lake Washington, lucky guys. I was able to go to one of the training camp sessions with my niece, Lokelani, and Eric's dad. It was one of the hottest days of the year in Seattle. The practice field doesn't have any shade. Yikes. Thankfully for everyone involved, they called practice after just over an hour. I don't know if we would have lasted for another hour, and we weren't the ones running around on the field.

Training camp was a lot fun. Even though the Seahawks aren't supposed to be very good this year, that's okay, we still love them.

Teeth and Stairs

Lauren has a couple of new accomplishments to show you.

Teeth!

Lauren's two bottom teeth came in a couple of weeks ago. She only had one really rough night, so it wasn't too bad. The top two teeth have been working on coming in, but they're not all the way through yet.

Lauren started crawling about a month ago (7 1/2 months old). She started going up the stairs this week. We want to teach her to go up and down stairs as soon as possible.

Swimming

We were fortunate to have an awesome friend give us passes to the "Half-Pint Splash-n-Play" at the aquatic center. It was an hour and a half session in the kiddie pool for only kids age 3 and under. Kaylin had a blast and Lauren had a good time too.

All of the splashing and swimming wore Lauren out. She normally doesn't fall asleep in her car seat. We put her in her seat for a minute to help Kaylin and she immediately fell asleep.

We had a great time at the pool. We have the pass for next week too and are looking forward to another fun morning at the pool.
